Who is Dj Kalkutta?  On the surface, a New York based turntablist and lover of all things hip hop, electro, reggae, R&B, pop, and house who’s pseudonym couldn’t be more literal as she was born in Calcutta (Kolkata), India.  If you dig deeper, you’ll meet a producer, a sci-fi fanatic, an Apple snob, a writer, an amateur fashionista, and a wannabe Bollywood superstar. But at the core, she’s just another Earthling eagerly awaiting her spaceship, while playing some good music in the meantime.
