The summer is nearing an end, and DJ Kalkutta will be making one of her final appearances at Caesar’s Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City this fine evening. Luckily, for those of you who missed her summer residency there she will be catching the entire thing on camera in a little piece we like to call “Bollywood Barbie Hits the Jersey Shore.” For those of you who will be around AC this weekend, you can catch her from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at Caesar’s Toga Bar.
the past few days have been made entirely up of partying and recording music, as it should always be! mel’s birthday was amazing, and not just cause jim jones performed! every new york open format dj (that was in town at the time) was there pretty much, and cassidy killed it as usual. this spot covet is pretty dope too, and once lavo opens a few blocks away the upper east side might really become poppington again. i’m sure it’s residents are thrilled.
as always, i’m up til a million o clock looking at shoes online. look at this crazy shoe i found on ifshoescouldkill.com- it reminds me of what gaga would wear in the event she ever finds herself climbing a mountain.
so even though i’m blogging in the wee hours, it’s still wednesday in my mind, which means it’s still aaliyah’s birthday- therefore, your tune of the day is an aaliyah track. ”a girl like you” is one of my favorite songs of hers. happy birthday, baby girl.

Tonight DJ Kalkutta joins Unkle Chip of the Elite Camp on the turntables for the Dirty Debutante’s final installment of the 143.NYC events. Please check out their website HERE. They truly are “event planning at it’s filthy best!” The event will be held from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. at Delicatessen and Kalkutta will be on the 1’s & 2’s from 7-9. Delicatessen is located downstairs at 54 Prince St. (at Lafayette), NYC. There will be great drink specials, awesome music, and lots of beautiful women. You don’t want to miss this!
so once again, sorry for my blatant neglect of this blog lately. i’ve been running around like a madwoman about 75% of the time and out of town causing trouble the other 25%. vegas was fantastic- travel gigs make me feel like such a rockstar. angela and vanessa are truly the sweetest girls. they’re very cultured and i can tell have a true thirst for life and new experiences. what they’ve done with pastry is very impressive, and can account for the great turn-out at their event. as i mentioned before- even michael jordan was there! make sure to look for our mention in in touch magazine coming out on wednesday! a big shout out to everyone i met out there, as well as everyone who came through to my gig with soundwavve at the eldridge this week and atlantic city yesterday. this week i’m doing several events for different brands/organizations, and i look forward to seeing some of you out and about. also, louis and i should be wrapping up ‘don’t f*****g tell us what to do’, the first punjewbi mc mixtape- so look out for that!

hey all… my apologies for being extremely neglectful of this blog lately… i mean, this is just pure and utter neglect. i was on such a roll there for awhile too! unfortunately, i’m swamped today too, but will definitely be posting something more substantial in a day or two here… for now, here’s some pics from wednesday’s pastry event in vegas. the event was a huge success, and michael jordan was there!!

Tonight at the Eldridge everyone’s favorite Bollywood Barbie meets NASA Space Machines when DJ Kalkutta & Soundwavve take on this trendy venue. It’s going to be an amazing night filled with eclectic music, bottle popping, and fabulous people that you don’t want to miss! Also, if you don’t know what a Lemur is (same thing Daft Punk & Justice use) tonight would be a good night to find out! Doors open 11 p.m.-4 a.m. Dress is downtown chic, no cover. The Eldridge is located in Manhattan’s Lower East Side at 247 Eldridge St. (off Houston).
Kalkutta will be spinning for Angela & Vanessa Simmons’ new Pastry line event this Wednesday in Las Vegas. The new line is called Box of Chocolates and the event will be taking place at Gold Lounge which is located at the Aria Resort & Casino (3730 Las Vegas Boulevard S., Las Vegas, NV 89109).
